We are currently seeking a seasoned and high-calibre professional to join our team as a Private Banker/Relationship Manager. This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience, profound market expertise, and a demonstrated history of successfully managing relationships with high-net-worth clients.
As a Private Banker/Relationship Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to both new and existing clients, providing sophisticated and comprehensive financial advice tailored to their unique needs. You will collaborate closely with our Investment Team, Sales Team, and Insurance Specialists to ensure that our clients receive a seamless experience across all aspects of their financial journey. In addition, you must ensure strict adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively acquire, cultivate, and sustain long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients, ensuring their evolving financial needs are consistently met.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of financial markets and a wide range of investment products to deliver tailored advice and solutions.
- Convert the business opportunities generated by the company into actual revenue.
- Oversee and manage the comprehensive wealth portfolios of your clients, aligning financial and investment products with their unique objectives and risk tolerance.
- Provide robust financial and statistical analysis to support informed decision-making and strategic investment planning.
- Utilize advanced communication skills to engage directly with clients, address their concerns, and resolve complex issues effectively.
- Apply meticulous attention to detail and innovative thinking to devise creative solutions for client challenges.
- Maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional client service, taking full ownership of client relationships while ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- University degree or above
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in relationship management, specifically within the private banking or wealth management industry, with a demonstrated track record of core relationships with High Net Worth (HNW) clients
- Proven track record of success in asset development, asset growth, asset management, and revenue generation
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a comprehensive business plan that outlines a clear growth vision
- Fluent Chinese, English and Putonghua in Written and speaking skills
- Good products knowledge of EAM and/or wealth management
- HKSI 1,7,8,12 is highly preferred
- Professional qualifications such as AFP, CFP, CFA, FRM or CFMP is an advantage
